Movement: gilded full plate, verge escapement, flat three-arm balance, decoratively pierced and engraved balance cock, diamond end-stone, silver regulation plate, fusee and chain, cylindrical pillars, standing barrel for alarm, two polished steel hammers for alarm striking bell mounted to inside case back, signed and numbered Dan De St Leu, London, Sert. to Her Majesty, 2618, gilt-metal dust cap similarly signed and numbered 

Dial: white enamel, Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring, blued steel beetle and poker hands, polished steel alarm indicator hand, aperture at 6 o'clock for male key to adjust alarm time, signed De St Leu, London

Cases: silver, band of the inner decoratively pierced and engraved with scrolling foliage, a mask engraved to the base and a harbour scene beneath the pendant, centre of the back engraved with floral spray, two apertures for winding and alarm trains, stirrup-form bow, outer case with band pierced for sound emission and engraved with scrolling foliage, the back chased and engraved with flowers, bell scratch signed Drury to centre of outside,inner and outer cases hallmarked London 1772 and with maker's mark IP incuse possibly for John Parker
