In 1983 Patek Philippe launched reference 3802, nicknamed Calatrava Clous de Paris, giving a twist to its Calatrava series by featuring an interesting and refreshing hobnail bezel. Patek Philippe offered this reference with three different dial options: a guilloche silvered dial, a silvered dial with gold applied indexes and dauphine hands and, finally, a “Porcelaine” white lacquered dial with black painted Roman numerals.
