Excellent level and appearance; Excellent niveau et apparence

In 2018 and with an extremely delicious Norwegian bløtkake (you just cannot get more hedonistic than this!), as smooth and rich as ever, gliding over the palate in its guava-like way. The sun- scorched lemons are there all through and the finish is treacly, but with nothing in excess, causing it to disappear with scarcely noticeable rapidity, a true sign of balance in a wine. It just stays on the tongue, a reminder of bliss. In 2020, it is the freshness and lemony fruit that enchant and intrigue. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
