Good level, excellent appearance; Bon niveau, excellente apparence

This Sangiovese and Merlot blend has really come into its own in 2018 - as it should, as this is a very fine vintage. A tremendous spicy, cassis nose and then so velvety and 'modern' on the palate, with great, soft opulence now. It has much more dimension than when young - would that be true for all of us! Structured, luscious and powerful, with its 14.5 alcohol, submerged in fruit as it is. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
