woodblock print, sumizuri-e with hand-applied colour, signed Torii Kiyohiro hitsu (Brush of Torii Kiyohiro), published by Maruya Kuzaemon (Gyokeido), circa 1752-1758
Vertical dai oban: 44 x 35.2 cm., 17¼ x 12¼ in.
The inscription on the poem evokes the salty sea breeze wafting through the shore, and reads:「浦風におしやもまするぬれすがた」
