題跋:

(李瑞清)此八大山人晚年筆也。設色尤難得,山人少時用筆極工致。卅年前曾見之。晚歲乃濃塗大抹,一瀉郁勃不平之氣。故雖極草草,其意皆工,無不中繩墨者,故贗者一見即辨之。不徒其荒率高逸之致為不可及耳。己未(1919)六月,清道人。鈐印:「清道人」

(陳佩秋)清道人梅清前輩是大千張爰先生師尊,於四僧頗富收藏,尤以八大石濤研究頗具權威,判其真偽九不離十。此圖既有前輩題識,當是真跡無疑。又余早歲嘗見八大山人題亂雲江西真個俗掛畫掛四軸,不是春夏秋冬便是漁樵耕讀,又見其美協藏四屏條,署款於末一條,而其余三條只鈐八大山人及何園印章二枚,則今此條芙蓉蘆雁上右有何園,八大山人之印,當屬四屏之第三條秋景即是。庚寅(2010)冬健碧識。鈐印:「陳佩秋印」、「秋蕊香室」、「南陽陳氏」

(蕭平)八大山人芙蓉蘆雁大軸,實乃失群之大屏也,佩秋女士考其為四季花鳥四屏之第三屏秋景,似亦可信。山人晚歲賣畫為生,其作略偏於拙而多有枯筆散鋒,斯作可謂典型圖,右下鈐有廷佐鑒賞圖書印,乃清康熙名宦,兩江總督郎廷佐。左下又有清晚名士顧沄臣、羅振玉藏印,可見遞藏有緒也。清道人長跋言辭鑿鑿,逾增其趣,遺民墨寶珍之珍之。時甲午(2014)立秋燈下,戈父蕭平識。鈐印:「蕭平」、「平之」
