Folio, loose as issued (485 x 359 mm). Text in English ("The New Fall of America") and French by Allen Ginsberg. Complete set of 10 initialed etchings and aquatints in color by Lichtenstein, printed at the Atelier Dupont-Visat; with half-title and title page, text, and justification, on Arches paper. Laid into publisher's plain white wrappers; original white-lettered red cloth chemise and blue cloth slipcase.


Limited edition, copy 69 of 80 copies on Arches paper intended as exemplaires nominatifs (this copy not so designated), signed by Lichtenstein and Ginsberg, with each plate numbered 69/80 and initialed by the artist, also signed by the artist and poet on the justification. (There were in addition 45 copies on Arches hors commerce numbered I–XLV and 42 copies on Japon nacre numbered 1–42). A fine copy.
