rectangular, the lid shaped as a split pearl-set envelope centred with a chased harp decorated in dark blue enamel on a sablé ground, on an engine-turned ground, within a partially enamelled floral and leaf border on a matted ground, the front and back side and base similarly decorated, the short sides with gold reeding, split pearl-set thumbpiece, maker's mark in a vertical lozenge, further struck: 18K, small associated key
