of tapering form, the handle enamelled in translucent sky blue, applied with green gold laurel swags, the terminal surmounted by a chased gold acorn, the joint between handle and blade set with a row of rose-cut diamonds, the blade chased and engraved with stylised buds and a geometric motif, in a fitted A La Vieille Russie case, struck to the blade with workmaster's initials, 56 standard
