In 2020, on the 75th Anniversary of VE Day, this had a deliriously lovely nose of apple blossom, lemon zest and sheer breed. On the palate, the depth and dimension are impressive, with layer after layer of brioche, grapefruit and candied orange peel, all delivered with finesse of texture and stunning style. Perfectly poised and pure joy.
