Dog-nose rat-tailed Hanoverian pattern, engraved with the initials CS beneath an earl's coronet, comprising: thirty table knives, twenty-seven table forks, twenty-five table spoons, thirty dessert knives, thirteen dessert forks, twelve dessert spoons, twelve fish forks, twelve fish knives, twelve fruit knives, twelve oyster forks, twenty teaspoons, one sugar spoon, two pickle spoons, six salt spoons, two mustard spoons, one condiment ladle, two butter knives, four pairs of sugar tongs, two ice spades, four shell-bowled serving spoons, a pair of fish servers, a cake server, a sugar sifter spoons, a pair of grape scissors, a cream ladle, a pair of salad servers, two basting spoons, a marrow scoop, a stilton scoop, a soup ladle, an eight piece carving set.

Some of the knives have small dings in the handles. Most of the knife blades have been replaced. Those which haven not been replaced have some tarnish/staining on the blades. The knives have some wear to the engraved monograms. One dessert spoon has a solder repair. Some light scratching to the back of the fork tines.
