A Victorian electroplate commemorative cruet stand, late 19th century


Commemorating the Manchester ship canal, the handle formed as an anchor, the mustard as a lighthouse, the salts as ships (one with spade spoon), and the pepper as a buoy, the ships and quay with the names of three men who were influential in the canal's construction (Daniel Adamson, Lord Egerton and William Bailey),
