Overall in very good condition. This bush features a fused shot treatment of the central core element which contrasts beautifully with the stems and buds surrounding it. The patinated bronze surfaces present with oxidation throughout, consistent with age and the artist’s intent. The patina and oxidation to the metal varies from a powdery teal to a dark gray throughout. The base presents with great variety in the texture of the metal which is inherent to the making with light surface soiling concentrated to the recessed contours. Overall a few of the stems are very slightly misaligned which is typical for these forms.
