Jennifer Allora and Guillermo Calzadilla are an artistic duo who live and work in San Juan in Puerto Rico. Shapeshifter is also an ordered abstraction made up of used sandpaper sheets, from construction sites, which evinces destruction and construction at the same time.The pair have collaborated since 1995 and represented the United States at the 2011 Venice Biennale.

Jennifer Allora et Guillermo Calzadilla forment un duo artistique, vivant et travaillant à San Juan à Porto Rico. Shapeshifter apparaît comme une abstraction ordonnée, réalisée à partir de feuilles de papier de verre usagées provenant de sites de chantiers. Cela témoigne à la fois de la destruction et de la construction. Ce tandem d’artistes collabore ensemble depuis 1995 et ils ont représenté les Etats-Unis à la Biennale de Venise en 2011.
