The Gray Door

plaster and wood

41¼ by 26¼ by 15 in.

105 by 67 by 38 cm.

Executed in 1975.

This work is in good and sound condition overall. There are multiple losses to the pigment throughout, in line with the age of the work. Under close inspection there are a few scattered cracks. A light layer of dust has adhered to the surface and crevices. Under further inspection there are a few brown drip accretions and white rubbing marks to the left turning edge. Under ultraviolet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration.
