comprising : 

- a woodblock print triptych probably inspired from the series Stories of the True Loyalty of the Faithful Samurai (Seichu gishi hottan), 1847

- two woodblock prints of a standing kabuki actor and a standing lady among prunus flowers

- three woodblock prints of a dancer and two interior scenes 

25.8 x 37.3 cm, 10⅛ by 14¾ in. (triptych) ;

from 22.2 x 32 cm to 25.7 x 37.7 cm, 8¾ by 12⅝ in. to 10⅛ by 14⅞ in. (other prints)

Acquired by the uncle of the present owner in Japan between 1918 and 1925. The original collector was part of the circle of friends of Paul Jacoulet, who dedicated a photo to him in 1937.
