- Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1797-1861)

Yazama Jujiro Motooki from the series Stories of the True Loyalty of the Faithful Samurai (Seichu gishi den), c. 1847 ; three woodblock prints from the series Modern Style Set of the Provinces in Edo Brocade (Koto nishiki imayo kuni zukushi), c. 1852 ; and a woodblock print diptych

- Toyohara Kunichika (1835-1900)

Acquired by the uncle of the present owner in Japan between 1918 and 1925. The original collector was part of the circle of friends of Paul Jacoulet, who dedicated a photo to him in 1937.
