Xi Gang (1746-1803), hao Mengquan waishi, a native of Shexian, Anhui province, was a renowned scholar, seal carver, painter and calligrapher during the Qing dynasty and one of the 'Eight Masters of Xiling'.


Jiang Xun (1709-1785), zi Yujiu, a native of Guangling (today's Yizheng city, Jiangsu province) and brother of the famous literati, Jiang Yu (1706-1775), was an accomplished scholar official during the Qing dynasty.
