This checklist would have been used to go through all the processes of re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere. The crew would have traveled at approximately 25,000 miles per hour into an entry corridor that was two degrees wide. This checklist gives the crew instructions on how to prepare the Command Module and themselves for re-entry and splashdown, on topics such as re-entry instrument setup and equipment stowage. It also provides contingency procedures for Service Module separation and contingency re-entry procedures had the mission failed to leave Earth's orbit.
