Signed photograph and envelope. Dayton, Ohio: 1927


Photographic postcard (to sight: 143 x 103 mm) with printed caption, signed ("Orville Wright") at foot. [With]: Envelope (106 x 161 mm). Addressed in another hand in black ink, with printed return address reading "Orville Wright | Dayton, Ohio" at upper left corner, postmarked 9 August 1927, Dayton, Ohio; browned, dampstain affecting address. Matted and framed together; not examined out of frame.


A photograph of the Wrights' first manned flight at Kitty Hawk, depicting Orville piloting the plane with Wilbur standing beside, neatly signed by Orville Wright in black ink. Accompanied by the envelope in which it was mailed, addressed to Jerome Milkman in Cedarhurst, N. J., care of Von Sall.
