36,2 x 29,1 cm; 141/4 x 111/2 in.

The work has been examined framed. Canvas is lined. There is a milky varnish preventing UV light from fully penetrating. However examination under UV light appears to reveal a spot of retouching located in the center of the yellow flower (approx. 2 cm wide) associated with smaller dots to the flowers. There are some further lines and dots of retouching most predominantly along the upper and right edges consistent with a smaller stretcher that was once used. The canvas has subsequently been put back on a stretcher of the original size. This work is in overall good condition.
