Alan Gard (b. 1935) was a member of the innovative British independent jewelers of the late 1960s and 1970s and got his start working under master Andrew Grima. Gard exhibited at Goldsmiths Hall and Design Centre London as well as institutions in America and has created pieces for endeavors as diverse as the films Nicholas and Alexandra (1971) and Modestie Blaise (1966).
