2 parts in one volume, folio (290 x 200mm.), with blank leaf at end of part 1, e1_8 slightly shorter at head, old German half blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards, single wide clasp, blue edges, spine re-covered in the eighteenth century with calf, spine tooled in gilt in compartments, a few small wormholes at beginning and end and in binding, spine slightly frayed at ends


Second collected edition of Petrarch's works in Latin, with a life of Petrarch by Girolamo Squarzafico and the commentary of the Canzoniere by Francesco Filelfo.
