Banded prior to inspection, in consecutive bottle numbers, straw wrapped

This is the lowest yielding (13 hl/hectare from very old vines) of the Grands Crus in 2003 and this shows in the lovely 'wild' nose of real blackberry intensity. Great black fruit juiciness on the palate. Touch of oak at the end. Crunchy black fruit all the way through. Fine textured, which is an achievement in this extreme year. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
