Overall in very good condition. The oak surfaces are in age-appropriate condition and present with very light scratches and occasional minor edge abrasions. One chair with two slightly larger abrasions to the wooden surfaces, the largest 1/4 inch, located at the rear of the seat. The oak with occasional scattered black house paint marks and fine hairline cracks which are stable and consistent with age, concentrated to the areas around the seat and legs as well as around the seams. The seat of one chair with an area of sensitive wood restoration to an old crack measuring approximately 1 1/2 in. long and not visually distracting. One chair with some very slight looseness to the two front legs due to slight separation at the seams around the seat. The later fabric upholstery is in excellent condition.
