The first ever two-tone Royal Oak to feature tantalum would be the reference 56175TT in 1990, which incorporated stainless steel and tantalum for an overall grey presentation. However with innovation, Audemars Piguet eventually ventured into experimentation of different metals, including the present bi-metal tantalum and pink gold Royal Oak. The touch of pink gold created a brilliant contrast whilst outlining the signature Royal Oak bracelet.
