Carved in Moxos or Chiquitos, circa 1770.
Finely worked and in overall good condition. Typical wear to internal painted decoration and rubbing to exterior which is of a pleasing appearamnce. Clasp to lockplate lacking, probably formerly hinged. With applied baise to the base.
