Twelve Spear Sheaths, Yari-saya


lacquered wood, leather, silk lacing

each fitted for variously shaped yari [spear], including single-blade yari, jumonji [figure 'ten'] yari, nagae [long shafted] yari and yajiri nari [spade-headed] yari each with later custom-made stand

length of the largest: 27cm., 10¾in.
