Gerald Summers, 1899-1967 | Stool
manufactured by Makers of Simple Furniture Ltd., London
tinted birch plywood and upholstery
47cm. high, 1ft. 5½in.
Conceived circa 1930.
Generally fair. Some brusing to veneers around screw holes. Some further brusing, scuffs and marks at edges (eg corners of each foot). 'Tinted' surface with some discolouration in areas and old marks and scratches as to be expected when the age and material employed in the construction of the piece are considered. The upholstery is tired and would benefit from a clean.
