The Nautilus reference 5711 in stainless steel is arguably the hottest watch on the current market. Recently discontinued by the brand, demand increased on an already extremely high level as the collector community is in the dark about the announced farewell series and potential introduction of a similar model in the near or more distant future.
Sotheby's is excited to offer an early version of this reference, which was launched at Baselworld in 2006. The present lot is one of the last one that still carries the Geneva seal on the movement instead of the later Patek Philippe seal introduced by the manufacture in 2009. Complete with Certificate of Origin and presentation case, the present lot has been retained in attractive condition and is an exciting opportunity for any collector to get their hands on a Nautilus.
