The dryness of the year suits the Dow style and this is exceptional. Glorious notes of roast nuts and plum skins on the nose with lots of damson fruit on the palate and pure seduction on the finish. Yet again, the proof that, in the rush for the 1963s, 1966 should not be forgotten. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
