Description

Clos Saint Denis 1999

Domaine Dujac

Côte de Nuits, Grand Cru

Excellent levels, 1 label slightly damp stained, 1 wrinkled

In 2014, this was a wine of such finesse, with scented violets on the nose. Soft, plummy and deep and yet juicy and 'bouncy' too. From magnum, it was extraordinarily young and dynamic, with a lovely fruit profile and total brambles on the finish. It went magnificently with a Vacherin Mont d'Or soufflé! Serena Sutcliffe, MW
