In 2012, a glowing pale topaz colour. A bouquet of flowers just before they decide to fade, a very special moment and which does not mean that the wine is following! So delicate and elegant, more so than the giant 1996. Warm treacle and honey on toast on the palate. The breed of the 1995 (the first vintage of d’Ambonnay), so sweet and beguiling. This just melts in the mouth.
