WA 97[TASTER:PARKER]...The nose races out of the blocks, more precocious thanI remember and yet never losing focus, offering kirsch, crushed violetsand still that subtle marine influence. The palate is medium-bodied withslightly grainy tannin. It offers wonderful black truffle, morels andmulberry fruit, as powerful as the 1989, albeit not quite with the sameprecision on the finish. It is the purity of the La Conseillante thatwins you over time and time again, and I would not hesitate in enjoyingthis Pomerol over the next decade... WA 94 - 07/16
