WA 96[TASTER:PARKER]... this is a prodigious Haut-Brion. It exhibits a denseruby/purple color in addition to a tight, but incredibly promising noseof smoke, earth, minerals, lead pencil, black currants, cherries, andspice. This full-bodied wine unfolds slowly, but convincingly on thepalate, revealing a rich, multi-tiered, stunningly pure, symmetricalstyle with wonderful sweetness, ripe tannin, and a finish that lasts fornearly 45 seconds. It tastes like liquid nobility. WA 96 - 04/01
