In 2015, great 'mystery' and class on the nose. Apricots too, which continue on the palate, with nuts, grapefruit, figs and sultanas. Stunning finish of coffee and figs which just keeps on getting better. The over-concentrated grapes of the year are still delivering extraordinary purity, sweetness and balance. This has much more fruit now than the 1967. Absolutely amazing - un-put-downable. WA 98[TASTER:PARKER]The 1975 Château d'Yquem stands as one of the toweringsuccesses of that decade and... it shows no signs of losing any of itsprowess... Iridescent in color, the bouquet soars from the glass, apyrotechnic display of quince, Clementine, honey and a touch of aszu,lending it a slight Tokaji-like personality. It is beautifully definedand intense. The palate is pure and detailed with a killer line ofacidity, vibrant honeyed fruit and a mellifluous finish that is nowfully expressive. It vies with the imperious 1971 as the greatest Yquemof that era. This is simply magnificent.
