Excellent Levels and appearance

Tasted, no let us be honest, drunk in 2012 with Richard Geoffroy, the genius who makes it. It is so intense that you smell it from the other side of the table. Tipped towards Pinot Noir, as the Chardonnay harvest was short this year, this has 'shoulders' and real vinosity, with a lovely, intriguing saline quality. At the same time, it is all pale elegance and finesse - this is the secret of DP, the conundrum, if you will and it is addictive. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
