The unbelievably small quantity made, 25,000 bottles against an average of 130,000 bottles, is the result of draconian selection in the vineyard and cellar. Smoky figs nose. Amazing treacly taste. Like treacle tart, which will appeal to lovers of this very English pudding (and that includes me!). Lemony aftertaste and then a touch 'brûlé'. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
