Ming Dynasty

明青花纏枝蓮紋大瓶

the slight baluster body rising from a tall foot to rounded shoulders and straight neck, boldly painted in bright inky blue tones with lotus blooms amidst scrolling foliage around the body under a ruyi collar, all between a band of cranes in flight amongst cloud and qilin on scrolling waves
