the flat stone worked in the form of a bird in profile, detailed with incised feathers, pierced at the beak with an aperture for suspension, the heavily calcified stone a creamy-beige colour
9 by 2.8 cm, 3½ by 1⅛ in.
The tip of the tail is broken off and missing, one shallow minor chip to the top,
approx. 0.3 cm., wide.
Overall with some surface wear and visible trance of red paint in the carving.
There's a mark of '385' written in white to one side.
