the straight sides rising from a flat pierced base with four bracket feet to an incurved rim, decorated to each face with a square panel enclosing a central dragon medallion within foliate scrolls in the spandrels, the rim with four foliate scrolls divided by a bat in flight at each corner
Width 20 cm, 7⅞ in.
The jardinière has over-painting to a circa 7 x 8 cm triangular section to the lower edge on one side, a thin strip of over-painting to one corner extending 5cm., up the corner from the base, rim fritting to the inner and outer rims, and light glaze scratches.
