RARE EARLY PHOTOGRAPHS OF MECCA.
Muhammad Sadiq Bey (1832-1902) was the first person to take photographs of Mecca, Medina and the Hajj in 1880 and 1881. These photographs which are after Sadiq Bey's originals include a 2-part panorama of Mecca, views of the Kabah, pilgrims praying and general views of the holy city.
