Oblong folio (246 x 320mm.), 60 albumen prints (222 x 280mm., or the reverse), most captioned in the negative, 40 signed 'Bonfils' in the negative, mounted on card, recto and verso, contemporary vellum gilt, modern red label on upper cover titled 'Palestine', red edges, mounts slightly bowed, some spotting and fading, minor wear to binding
A large collection of views chiefly in and around Jerusalem, including the Wailing Wall, interior and exterior views of the mosque of Omar, the Temple Mount, ancient gates and city walls of Jerusalem, views of Bethlehem, Jaffa, Rameleh, Bethany, Jericho, and Hebron.
