A pair of Regency japanned and simulated rosewood occasional tables, circa 1810


each top with a gilt-brass border and naively painted with birds and flowers, above a single frieze drawer, the shaped trestle supports with brass mounts and castors and united by a turned pole stretcher, restoration

69cm. high, 59cm. wide, 44cm. deep; 2ft. 3in., 1ft. 11¾., 1ft. 5¼in.

Probably supplied to George William, 7th Earl of Coventry (1758-1831) for Croome Court, Worcestershire;
