signed L. Hunter (lower right)

wax crayon, black ink and pencil on paper

unframed: 48 by 60cm.; 19 by 23¾in.

framed: 65.5 by 78cm.; 25¾ by 30¾in.

Executed circa 1927-28.

We are grateful to Jill Marriner for her kind assistance with the cataloguing of the present work.

The work is executed on thin tracing style paper. The work appears to be in good overall condition. The sheet has been adhered to the back board at intervals along the edges. There are tears, nicks and creases to the sheet edges, mainly hidden beneath the mount. There is a vertical tear to the sheet extending from the upper left hand edge. There is some light creasing and undulation throughout. There is mount staining to the edges and light time staining to the sheet. Some scattered specks of surface dirt.

Held in a drawing frame and cream mount and framed under glass. Please note that this work has been examined out of its frame.
