Hamon [tempering pattern]: Ko-midare in ko-nie, yakidashi at the machi

Boshi [tip]: Suguha boshi with chu-kaeri

Nakago [tang]: One mekugi-anakurijirikatte sagaru yasurime, signed Heian-jo Fujiwara Nobuyoshi

Habaki [collar]: Silver and copper, double clad 

Koshirae [mount]: The black lacquer koshirae decorated with sprinkled aogai, gilt fittings, the tsuba chased and engraved with waves, the menuki of a dragon, the fuchi-kashira and kojiri with crashing waves

Nagasa [length from kissaki to machi]: 55.9 cm., 22 in. 

Saki-haba [width at the yokote]: 2 cm., ⅞ in.
