"This broadside announces the arrival of two women and a man, extraordinary human specimens, who have made their way to London from an unnamed location in South America. They were distinguished physically by their small stature (they were under four feet tall) and by the unusual excrescences extending from their chins. These goiters gave rise to their billing as 'The Monstrous Craws'" (EE, p.48).
