4to (187 x 136 mm). Woodcut headpiece and initials, printer's ornaments, errata on A4; lacks A1 (blank), top margin of quire B dust-soiled, some light browning. Later calf; sympathetically rebacked, lower board scraped.


A reissue of A Candle in the Dark, with a new title-page (see previous lot).
