We are grateful to Dr Emily M. Weeks for her assistance in cataloguing this work which will be included in her revision of the artist's catalogue raisonné by Gerald M. Ackerman.

The panel is flat and even. The work is in excellent condition ready to hang. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals some retouching to the upper and left extreme framing edge. There is also a slightly uneven varnish layer
