signed and dated L. Deutsch 1891 lower left

oil on panel

Unframed: 40.5 by 30cm., 16 by 11¾in.

Framed: 75 by 63.5cm., 29½ by 25in.

The panel is flat, even and ensuring a stable support. The paint surface is stable. There are some pin-head sized nail holes along the extreme right framing edge, barely visible to the naked eye. With the exception of some fine lines of cosmetic retouching in the torso of the standing man, this work appears to be in very good condition and with no sign of restoration. This work is ready to hang. Presented in a decorative gilt frame with a nameplate.
